NMM

What joy what bliss...it's Monday!!! Okay, do I really like Monday's? Um no but there is one thing that brings such joy & bliss to my Monday's...NMM! The time that I can come here & confess all the things I did not do in the last week! Who came up with this fantastic idea? That of course would be MckMama! Be sure to hop over there & get in on the fun! And now, my NMM...

*I did not start feeling sick this weekend & end up having to stay home from church on Sunday because I felt so bad. I never get sick & even if I do, it never keeps me away from church! Not me!

*I did not wake up Saturday morning to S-man telling me that D-D had thrown up on the couch. We were not bracing ourselves for a stomach bug, & knowing that it would spread rapidly through our whole family! He then did not proceed to do it again, only this time we realized he was sticking his finger down this throat! Oh no, my 2 yr old would never do that!

*Later that same Saturday I did not end up having to take the GD to the doctor! He was not trying to break up some concrete in the backyard & he was most certainly wearing safety glasses. So because he was wearing the glasses, concrete did not fly up into his eye! Since that didn't happen, I did not proceed to wash his eye out & put drops in them, only to end up at the walk in clinic. They did not wash it out again & not find anything in there but give him a tetanus shot anyway just in case! They did not say that it was a corneal irritation, prescribe drugs for a possible headache & ointment for his eye! We did not take them to CVS to get it filled only to find out the ointment was $45!!!!! $45 for 3.5g!!!!! TINY, TINY tube cost $45!!!! I guess that's the going rate for putting GOLD in your eye!!! But since my husband always take every precaution, this whole thing never happened!

*I did not turn a year older this week, & hardly notice that the day was any different! I did not head out to meet the GD for lunch, on my way I did not run over something in the road & I most certainly did not get a flat tire. I did not manage to get to Wal-Mart only to find out that I would need a whole new tire! Thankfully we bought road hazard protection when we bought those tires, however that meant putting on the spare & driving to the garage we got them from. Finally we dropped off the van, had lunch, got back to get the van & it cost $50! I was not hating my bad luck & thankful for the warranty at the same time, knowing it could have cost more! It was not the birthday present I was looking for, but I am thankful for God's little blessing everyday!

Not Me Monday

It my favorite day of the week! NMM! If you have no idea what I am talking about then hop over to MckMama's blog to check out how it all goes down! But don't be surprised by the fact that she's not around this week! MckMama, her Prince Charming, & her little MckMiracle are gone on a cruise! How jealous are we? Oh wait, no that's right we are not jealous at all!

I did not have to make 2 trips to the doctor in 3 days for S-man & both time have to pay a copay & really nothing be wrong! I then did not come home & vent all over my blog about said visits! I would never do such a thing, I take my kids to the doctor all the time! And of course I don't mind spending a fortune over NOTHING!! Nope not me!

I definitely not addicted to The Bachelor & watch it faithfully with my girlfriends! I do not replay the clips for next week in slow motion trying to figure out who is kissing who! I have a life thank you, I don't need to get lost in someone else's. Yes he's adorably handsome, seems to be an amazing father, & such a sweetie, but I mean come on it's reality tv I am not that wrapped up in it!

(T-minus 6 hrs & 56 minutes until it starts tonight!)

I was not completely overjoyed to get a date night with the GD this weekend! This was not the first date night we had had in more than 3 months. No way, we make more time for each other than that. It's not like the kids keep us that busy or broke to prevent date night! No way!

I am not trying to get the house in order because it will be invaded by at least 10 8th grade girls this weekend! Yes that's right 10 will be all over my house with 1 bathroom for them to use! Craziness will in sue I am sure! It's Disciple Now (DNOW) weekend & I am so excited for it! Really I truly am, it's just going to be crazy! Be sure to pray for me huh! Oh & the GD & the boys are not getting kicked out for the whole weekend! They will not enjoy a weekend at MiMi & PaPa's house (my in laws), I am sure they will not be very spoiled! It's not like they are far from home though, we live right next door!

Not Me Monday

It's my favorite day of the week, NMM!! I can't tell you how much I look forward to this every week! If you don't know what all this is about then hop over to MckMama's blog & see how you can jump in the fun! Without further ta do, my NMM...

*I did not check my blog/twitter a million times everyday that Stellan was in the hospital. Who has time for that, & it's not like I really know them to be that worried! Sure we all feel like we know them quite well, but by gosh that was not me checking in on him every 12.5 seconds!

*I did not decide we were done having babies this week (after much prayer, see post) & immediately get excited about what to do with the nursery. Move D-D out & give the boys their own rooms? Or maybe just new paint for a "new" playroom?

Nope that was not me who did that!

*I did not have 2 friends get engaged on New Years Eve (see Brini's proposal story here!) & think back to how the GD proposed to me! It did not bring tears to my eyes remembering how he managed to surprise me! I certainly do not love him more today then I ever thought possible!

Okay I totally DO!!!

*I did not get super excited that the GD did my button for me & this is not a shameless plug in hopes that you will all grab it & put it up on your blog! Nope that's not me & I would never use this as a way to promote myself...

*I am not SUPER excited about "The Bachelor" starting tomorrow night! I do not love that I get together with 3 of my closest friends & watch it every Monday night! And I certainly don't miss it when it's not on air! I don't care about trivial things like a TV show, & I certainly don't plan my week around it! (come on any Bachelor/ette fans out there?)

Not me Monday

It's been a few weeks since I have done a NMM, so I thought it was about time I jumped back in! Head over to Mckmama's blog to see what all the fuss is about, it's such great fun! Let's face it we are all flawed Mom's just trying to figure it out as we go! It's very freeing to announce your flailings all over bloggyland, at least that's what MckMama keeps telling us!

I did not vow to start potty training D-D last week only to be gone too much to even think about it again! I did not decide that it might be better to wait until after Christmas & things slow down some! I also did not let D-D run around the house naked because he won't keep a diaper/pull-up/underwear on! I would never just give in to him & let him become a nudist! No way I am a far better Mom than that!

I did not totally put my foot in my mouth when talking to my son last week! See I was not irritated that I couldn't get the GD (Graphic Daddy) on the phone & I did not say, "What's the point of having a cell phone if you never answer your flippin' phone?" To which I did not hear S-Man say "Flippin' phone, flippin' phone, flippin' phone!" I did not freak out & totally try to cover myself! I did not say, "Yep see how Mommy's phone flips open, Daddy's does too, so they are flippin' phones!" I would never do something like that because I have better control over my tongue than that! Nope not me!

**He totally bought it by the way!!**

And on a serious note...I did not get SO mad at God this past week & totally vent to all of you how truly angry I really was! I would never do something like that, I am so much better than that! I did not later realize God's plan & become totally humbled before Him, knowing that He knows better than me! I am SO still learning that I have to let go & let God run the show!

*I did not change my blog background AGAIN!!!! Why in the world would I keep changing it? That's just silly!

*I did not spend all Friday afternoon/evening helping my best friend, decorate her house for Christmas! All the while LOVIN' the fact that I got her to decorate early! She teases me every year about how early I decorate, so I did not gloat at all!

No way, what kinda of friend would that make me!

*I did not do this post at 3 in the morning on Sunday, because I can't sleep! Nope not me, I am sound asleep!

*I did not start my first giveaway this week! You can still get in on the action just go here! That was not a shameless plug for my giveaway, nope I would never do that!!

Not Me Monday

I did not force politely ask my husband to update my header to a Christmas theme this week! Why would I do that, the other one was just fine! I was not shocked thankful that he then wanted to try making a background for me! It's it pretty?! And of course I am not looking for plenty of complimentary comments on my blogs new look!

I did not totally steal receive an award from Jeannie this week, even if she did tell us to take whatever we wanted! I would never think that much of myself to not wait until it's actually given to me! I did not feel totally vindicated when Jeannie told me she would have given me that one anyway!!!

I did not finally put up our Christmas trees this past week! I have not enjoyed looking at them every night & love my house all light up for Christmas! I am not SO excited for Christmas to get here that I am rushing it along! Nope not me!

I did not learn how to strike through a word with blogging this week & have been using it constantly now! I am sure it is not at all annoying the way I keep striking through words! It's not is it? LOL! See how to do it here!

Not Me Monday

My favorite blogging day is here again! MckMama is recovering after having a beautiful HEALTHY baby boy this past week, so she doesn't have NMM up & running but thought I would jump in anyway! So here's my NMM...

*I did not refresh my computer about a million times this last week constantly waiting for new updates about MckMama & Stellan! And I certainly did not blubber over the miracle of Stellans birth, even though I have never met MckMama!

*I did not devour snack on, some of the kids Halloween candy this weekend, while telling them they shouldn't eat to much candy! I know I am not alone on this one though!!

*I did not take DD to the doctor today & find out he has a double ear infection! I do not feel horrible because he has had a cough for more than a week but I thought it was just the weather! I certainly did not put off going to the doctor just because I didn't think he was that sick! Nope no way I take my kids to the doctor every time they sneeze!

*I am not dying to put up my Christmas decorations! I never put them up the week after Halloween, that would be craziness! I love Christmas but I mean come on, who would do such a thing?

*And finally I am not still reveling in being a SAUCY blog this week on SITS! I am not by any means loving all the comment love & in the process finding more blogs I am addicted too! Who would get caught up in all that hoopla! Oh yeah...ME!! Thanks again SITS!!!!!

Not Me...Monday!

It's that time again ladies...Not Me Monday! If this is your first time tuning in then be sure to check out MckMama to see what all the fun is about! So without any further ta do...

I did not skip last Monday because I truly couldn't think of anything & didn't want to sound stupid! Nope I don't care what other people think...I am my own person!

I did not make 3 desserts in the last 2 days & justify it by saying..."We have friends visiting from out of town & they want something different every night!"

I did not redo the look of my blog...AGAIN! I certainly do not think blogs are like clothes & should be changed daily, because that would be a waste of time!

I did not touch up paint spots, paint a shelf, hang the said shelf, & decorate it all in the hour before our friends arrived! Again I don't care about little things like that just to impress people!

I did not wear pj's to church Wednesday night, why would I ever do a silly thing like that? (Because it was pj night for AWANA! And I SO think every week we should do it again!)

It's that time again, for "Not me! Monday"! I never got around to doing one last week so this is my first in 2 whole weeks! If your not familiar with this then hop over to MckMama's blog & check out what all the fun is about it!--------------------------------------------Last week I did not have a really embarrassing thing happen to me in the school line to pick up S-man that I have been saving all week to tell you about!! I would never hold out just for "Not me! Monday", I am not that addicted to it! So here goes...-------------------------------------------------------I was not sitting in the car-line, chatting (okay...gossiping!)with a friend from church for almost 45 minutes! I would never, ever do that, I am far too mature for gossip!! I was not sitting there with the car turned off & the windows down because it was so nice outside, (& to save gas)!! I then did not get back in the car with S-man & try to crank my car! And of course it cranked right up, right...nope wouldn't crank! I did not sit there pleading/bargaining with God, telling Him I was so sorry I gossiped & I would never, ever do it again if only He would have my car start up! One more try...Nope didn't work! I then did not have to wait for everyone to go around me & have to have my car pushed out of the way! I did not have to wait for my father-in-law to get there & jump off the battery! I also did not choose this day of ALL days to pick up S-man wearing no make up, & this was not the only thing I could think off, not my car but of all these people seeing me with no make-up! Nope not me, I am absolutely not that vain!! I always go out looking my best, never like I haven't showered in more than 24 hrs!!! Nope NOT ME!!!---------------------------------------------------I did not go to one of my favorite blogs, City Mom, Country Mom, to see what their Not Me! Monday posting was, only to LOVE their new background! I did not go to the website they got it from & hunt until I found it! I then did not copy their background, & wish that my GD (graphic designer) hubby would make me a cute header like theirs! I would never do that, mine was fine the way it was, so why change it? Nope I would not do such a silly thing!! ----------------------------------------------------Well there you go, another Monday almost over! Hope you enjoyed my stories & even had a good laugh! I am most definitely not hoping for comments, especially one from MckMama herself! I wouldn't, I mean who get's excited over those kinds of things? Have a great week & Happy Fall!!

I did not make a special trip to Target just to look for the beaded necklace that MckMama talked about last week! And I was not totally disappointed when they didn't have it!

I did not go on the aforementioned Target trip after a girls night out dinner hoping that by the time I got home the kids were bathed & ready for bed!

I did not put D-D in bed with me & we both sleep until 10:30 this morning! I would never do that, there is far to much for me to be doing than sleeping! Nope I jumped out of bed this morning & couldn't wait to start the day!

Friday night I did not go into my kids room blindly feeling in the dark to see if my 2 year old had thrown up, nope no way, not me!!! That would just be gross!!!!!

I did not go sit in the car line to pick up my son from school an hour early just so I could have some quiet to finish reading my book!! Who would be that selfish? Not me!!

This week I did not eat a whole bag of Cheetos Puffs all by myself for lunch everyday! Nope I would never, ever do something like that!

I also did not think about things all week, wondering if it was good enough to blog about! Why would I ever do that? No I wouldn't...I didn't I tell you!!!

I absolutely did not check the computer every 5 minutes this past week to see if my husband was online! Just because he was in Romania & we only talked once a day, I absolutely didn't plan my whole day around it! Nope, not a chance because that would be so pathetic!!
