Rejoicing in His plan, whatever that may be!

I have been thinking lately about how much less I blog. Is it because blogging has lost it's newness? Or maybe I don't have as much time? Or don't think it's important to share everything? I think it has something to do with all of the above & then some! Right now I am having a hard time putting into words the things that are going on in our family. Some things I just can't talk about right now because it's too early. I can't wait for the day when I can share more & more but for now I am left to keep them in. That is really hard for me! I have so enjoyed blogging & being able to write down what I am feeling or what is going on. It's very therapeutic for me!

But through this I have turned more focus onto God. "Venting" to Him, talking with Him, seeking Him. Which is what I should be doing all along. One thing God continues to lay on my heart is trust. Trusting Him. I have such a hard time with this concept. I am a control freak like to be in control & have a very hard time realizing that I am not in control. Trying to let go & let God lead is very hard for me. But our ways are not His ways & His way is much better I know. So I am trying to let go of the death grip I have on the reigns of my life & hand them over to the one who is much more qualified! I am choosing to rejoice in HIS plan, whatever that may be! So in the meantime if I am not around as much as I would like, know that I am seeking Him & trying to walk His path. I will be around & hope to be able to share more with all of you soon!

Face lift!

Hey ladies! I know I haven't been around much lately but there is just so much going on around here! I keep hoping things will slow down soon, but they just don't seem to be! We are getting ready to leave for our cruise next weekend & are SOOOOO excited!

In the mean time just stay with me while Momma my blog is getting a face lift! What I have done is only temporary until the GD can find time to really update my blog! Can't wait to see how it turns out & to catch up soon!

1. I am addicted to reality tv! Seriously, I watch way to much of it, actually I DVR it & watch it with no commercials!

2. I eat peanut butter on my pancakes! I have no idea where this came from but I grew up eating them that way & don't like them any other way! I am trying to introduce my kids to it too!!!

3. I have always wished that I could sing! I love to sing, I am just not good at it. I would love to be able to sing in the choir at church or sing solo's! I wish I could, but guess what...one day I will! I know one day I will get to sing to my savior face to face!!

Bayside Reunion!

I know that I am not the only one out there...the only one who faithfully watched every episode of Saved by the Bell. Who followed them to college, the new class, the other new class! And didn't record (on the VCR no less) when Kelly & Zac finally got married! Tell me I am not the only one out there! So when I saw this I did not just about fall on the floor laughing & so knew everything he was talking about!!!! It was great & I would LOVE to see a reunion!!!! I know I am dork but hey "Friends Forever"!

Weekend Redo

What a weekend it has been! Let me tell you those girls we had were a riot! Totally different from the girls we had last year! The same leader from last year, Sarah, was also the leader this year & we have become friends over the last 12 months so we had a blast! The girls we had last year were very girly-girls, primping for everything & all 10 of them had cell phones! This year we only ended up with 6 but what tomboys they were! The were all over the place & into everything! They were burping & farting like they were a bunch of boys, Sarah & I had thought we had ended up with the 8th grade boys somehow! But they were such sweethearts & very respectful! We had a great time, but I must say I love my boys even more after these weekends! I have always always wanted a little girl, but now I realize how nice it is to not have the hair, the bows, the dresses, the primping! Nope boys just put on whatever & they are out the door! I sure did miss my boys & am glad to be back with them. I am home early from church, because I got called that D-D had a fever! So looks like we are headed back to the doctor tomorrow! Fun times! Hope you have all had a great weekend!

Wife murdered over Facebook status...

LONDON (AFP) - A British man who murdered his wife after becoming enraged when she changed her relationship status on Facebook to "single" was jailed for at least 18 years late Thursday.
Edward Richardson, 41, stabbed wife Sarah, 26, to death in a "frenzied and brutal" attack at her parents' home in Biddulph, central England, last May after she altered her profile on the Internet social networking site.
The couple had been living apart since the previous month, said Fiona Cortese, a spokeswoman for the Crown Prosecution Service, which is responsible for prosecuting cases in England and Wales.
"Richardson became enraged when Sarah changed her marital status on Facebook to single and decided to go and see her as she was not responding to his (text) messages," Cortese said.
"He gained entry by breaking the front door window and made his way into the property.
"Once inside, he found Sarah in her bedroom and subjected her to a frenzied and brutal attack with a knife and then attempted to take his own life."
Sarah Richardson's parents Beryl and Alan Boote said they were left "devastated" by her murder after the verdict at Stafford Crown Court, central England.
"We hope that Richardson will be an old man before he's ever allowed out of prison," they said.
Detective Inspector Andy Wall, who worked on the case, added: "She had decided that her marriage to Edward Richardson was over but this was clearly something he could not accept."

Yes I am still alive!

Hello all! I promise I didn't fall off the face of the earth, I am still here! Let me tell you we have been so busy that I haven't hardly had time to wash clothes much less blog! Plus to very honest I haven't felt like I had much to say. Anybody else have times like that? Were it seems for a few weeks you have lots to say & then all of the sudden it stops. Anyone? Maybe it's just me, but I don't think so!

We moved the boys into their own rooms this past weekend & they are loving it! I think they are really enjoying having their own space! We had decided to redo the stuff in S-man's room to make it more "older boy-ish" for his birthday (which isn't until May but ya know)! We weren't really ready to get the stuff yet but I had to go to Target to get birthday present for this weekend & thought I would just see what they had! I found a twin comforter, sham, full & flat sheet with pillowcase on sale for only $30! How could I not resist that? Such a great deal! It's got stripes so it can grow with him, & he even got to pick between the blue & the green! I really liked the blue but he loved the green so we got him green! So my day tomorrow will be spent taking down the border in his room & painting in the spot where the border used to be! FUN!

See it's supposed to be a high of 47 tomorrow & 40 Friday so it's a good time to work on something indoors!! I totally get that is nothing compared to MckMama who reported -12 just tonight! -12 people -12!!!!!!! And that doesn't even count the wind or anything else! I don't know how she does it, I mean 47 is SO cold to me! Then again I am a FL girl at heart, so I am not used to anything but H-O-T! Anyway that's what is going on with us! Redoing rooms & 2 birthday parties this weekend! Have a good day tomorrow ladies!

7 Random Facts About Me

Good Morning all! So Tabi kinda tagged me...okay not officially but I know she was thinking of me when she said she tagged everyone! No we have never met & I only recently found her blog but I mean come on, of course she was thinking of me! LOL!

But wait I digress okay so here's the rules...

1. I love to shop, no really, like to the extent that I need a support group! LOL! Unfortunately I am an emotional shopper, I know bad right? Even if I don't really need it I try to justify it! Do you think the SA number is listed...shoppers anonymous!

2. I hate to fly! I hate to have anyone I know flying! Here's the thing as I a kid I flew all the time to see my bio father, then Sept 11th happened! I was one of those that didn't want to leave her house because I felt like they were coming for ME! I have only flown once since then & I cried the whole time! I know it's irrational & I have gotten over most of it...but I still can't bring myself to want to fly ever again!

3. I am opposite of some of you other girls, I have to go to sleep with the TV on, sometime during the night I wake up & turn it off. But when I go to sleep I have to be watching TV, & it is usually F*R*I*E*N*D*S!

4. In case you didn't already get this from #2, I am a worrier! I will worry over anything & everything & anyone! I come from a long line of worriers, so I blame them...wait I wonder if worrying is a symptom of something that could kill me?!?!?!?!

5. My two front top teeth are so sensitive! Just seeing someone (even in a commercial) biting into ice cream or anything cold makes me shudder! I have to wrap my lips around my teeth before eating or drinking anything cold! Weird...

6. I think life would be so much more fun if it was done like a musical! If everyone just dropped what they were doing & broke out in song & dance! I mean come on, who would have time to fight or argue when your "Singing in the Rain"!

7. I have a new addiction that has kept me out of the stores...blogging! I can't wait to get on everyday & see who has a new post or to find new blogs! I love hearing about every body's life & meeting new people! I guess I don't need that number anymore for SA, but I wonder if there are any side effects of switching addictions so suddenly...I better go look it up!
