Dear rotovirus,
Yes oh yes we have been hit. We tried to keep you away but despite all odds, you finally found your way into our home. You managed to sneak in, without us even knowing. You even fooled us, thinking that it was just something D-D ate. But alas no, it's YOU! For the last few days I have been cleaning up all kinds of bodily fluids, off carpet, off people, off every surface. Now you decided to attack me, why oh why? What did I ever do to you? Except kick you out the last time you were here. Are you holding that against me?
Thankfully D-D got the vaccine when he was a baby, so he only has a slight case, & he only passed on a slight case to me. Prayerfully you will stop with the 2 of us! Please I beg you don't get the others! I have taken every precaution I can think of. I have washed every sheet, every pillow case, every towel, every item of clothing. I have scrubbed every counter top, every toilet, every sink, every table. I have scrubbed the carpet from "spills", and vacuumed every speck of dust & dirt! I sprayed Lysol over everything, I cloroxed doorknobs & light switches. I have changed our toothbrushes, hand washed every cup & then run it through the dishwasher! So please, please rotovirus go far, far away!

ReplyDeleteOh no I so know how bad the dreaded R viruis can be. Spending so much time in the hospital with the Philip we have had it more times then any one person should ever have..It is awful...as if I need to tell you..huh?

I so don't want it! Keep it there!! Do you want to borrow my carpet cleaner? If you haven't already change out your vacuum bag and spray the brush roller with Lysol. Yes, germs live there. I hope you feel better. And you need to be symptom free for 24 hours before coming to my house please. I'm not being selfish I promise, I just have a very busy week next week and no child care so Jax will have to be with me. R virus, 3 year old and other people's home don't mix. I love ya though! I promise!
ReplyDeleteOh you poor things! That virus is the worst! That ended our littlest up in the hospital when she was 9 months old, Horrible! I am praying for you to get better very quickly!
