Today oh what a day!!! A very dear friend of mine, Lesley, gave birth to a beautiful baby girl! Baby Gracen made her arrival at 12:37pm & weighs 7lbs 10oz & is 20 inches long. Lesley is not a stranger to desperately desiring a baby. They have waited 13 long years for her! They were able to adopt Reagan 3 yrs ago & she has been the light of their lives. Now finally they get to add Gracen to their family! I am so excited for them! I can't wait to see her & to see Lesley hold that sweet baby in her arms. Those same arms that have ached for so long to hold her! I understand how it feels, I have been in these same shoes. Wondering if I would ever be able to have kids, trying to trust God's plan all the while having empty arms. Always thinking I would die for that... I know the pain sweet friends & I pray for any of you out there that are unable to have children. I know the emptiness. I know the pain. I know the brokenness. I know the heartache & continue to pray for you all!
