NMM

Stretch...roll over...look at the time...oh it's early...what day is it...OH IT'S MONDAY! You know what that means right? NMM! My favorite day thanks to MckMama, who started this blog carnival all to let us open up & be totally honest! So now to another edition of NMM...

*I have not been dreading this week for months all because S-Man is on Spring Break this week & that would mean I would have both kids at home! I would never do that, I love having my children all around me, even if they are fighting the whole time. I don't cringe trying to come up with idea's of how to get them out of the house, so they don't kill each other or drive me insane. And I was not totally bummed out that it's STILL raining today & it looks like we are stuck inside ALL day!
Nope not me!

*I did not spend most of Sat night & all day Sunday in bed...again. I, of course, remember all of it, because I was not drugged up most of that time. I am not praying against all odds that this surgery will work & this will be the last cycle I have that puts me down away from my family. I am not holding on to that prayer with every fiber in me, because I don't know how much more of this I can take. And even if I did, I wouldn't talk about it here & I certaintly wouldn't whine about it here!
Nope not gonna happen.

*I am not super excited that my Mom & Dad are coming in this weekend! Why would I be? Because they are here to help take care of me & my family after surgery? Because I haven't seen them since Christmas? Because they love me so much? Yes all of these wonderful things and...my Mom spoils me & my Dad always fixes something! I never save a project for my Daddy when he comes, I never try to make sure he feels needed. Okay I do, but it's because my Dad can't sit still, he loves to fix stuff & I know it makes him feel good since he's not around all the time! My Mom always takes me shopping, and always a buys us groceries! I am not looking forward to that. It's not like we need it, nope, we don't live on a shoe string budget & welcome any break we can get!
Nope that's not it at all!

*I will not turn into a crazy woman with OCD by the end of the week, trying to get my house clean before my OCD Mom gets here! I love my Mom dearly, but wow she's a neat freak! I never tease her about this, telling her that her house dirty is what I consider my house clean & call her "the white glove lady"! I can remember when I was a kid she would vacuum the carpet & you weren't allowed to walk across it because it would mess up the vacuum lines! SERIOUSLY! I did not totally refuse to be that way & become the opposite of her in that way!
Nope I did not do that!

Okay so another NMM done! Let me stop & make sure you all know that I love my Mom! She is the best Mom in the world & I am blessed to call her Mom & friend! She is the first one I call for advice & I don't know what I would do without her! Love you Mom! Okay I have to go clean now! LOL!

  1. Hey, a lot of you guys are on Spring Break already. Our schools don't start till next month. Not sure whether I'll like it or not, with 4 kids home all day.

  2. Days inside the house with two kids is equal to having a root canal for me. I totally understand that one.

You better get going on your cleaning. :) Great NMM's!!!

  4. Love it! I love it when my mom and dad come to visit because they do exactly the same thing. My dad does a bunch of stuff around the house for me and mom cooks, cleans and takes care of the kids - just because she like to help me out. Good luck getting your house clean! At least you know it'll be kept clean by your mom!

  7. That's funny... We were just saying that we can't wait for spring break so that we don't have to get up so early. Ours isn't for a couple weeks though.

Still praying for you! What day is your surgery?
