Time-out

Main Entry:
time–out
Pronunciation: \ˈtīmau̇t\
Function: noun
Date: circa 1896
1: a brief suspension of activity : break; especially : a suspension of play in an athletic game
2: a quiet period used especially as a disciplinary measure for children

Who said kids are the only ones who need time-outs? As a Mom I need them too! Sometimes because I am so stressed out, or maybe because I am tired, or sometimes I just need girl time! And trust me in a house full of boys...I need a girly time-out!! Sometimes I need a time-out to bask in the glow of my Fathers love & all that He has done for me! I don't always have an outlet to do those things so that all leads to the fact that I thought I would start up blogging again...so I could have a time-out to work-it-out!

I started thinking about this because we have a family friend, Heather, that started blogging & since they don't live close I read her's to keep up with her little Miss Priss! From there I found, MckMama about an amazing Mom with 3 kids & prego with her 4th that the doctors say have a heart condition & said the baby would die...that was 10 weeks ago! It's an amazing story of God's protection & her faith that has stayed steadfast in the midst of the storm makes me in awe!! (Check it out when you have time!) Seeing God's soverenty over & over again always brings me to awe in Him!

So there's my first blog, with hopefully many more to come! More info about who we are as a family & what God has done in our lives! And if you want too, you can join me for a time-out!!

Ps. 4:8 I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.
