So most of you know that GD is away on a mission trip to Romania & that my Mom has been here almost a week! It has been such a blessing to have her here, & it has made the time go by faster! I am so excited that I am on the other side of the time now, only 5 days left...not that I am counting! We are all very excited to have him home soon!!
I had Parent Report Day at S-Man's school today! It went great! She said he had really improved since the first couple weeks of school! We had an "incident" the 2nd week of school, when Mrs J asked him to do something, he crossed his arms & stomped his feet & said "I will not!" Let me tell you that went over real well, at school & at home! But I think once he saw that he couldn't get away with anything, he got back in line! Thank goodness! She also said he was in the top 4 for Reading & he tested really well for Diebels!!! I am just so glad that he loves school so much & wants to keep going back!
I was reading in my quiet time this morning a verse that is one of my favorites & it always just amazes me every time I read it! Romans 8:38-39 "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." No matter what is happening in our lives, no matter how bad things seem...NOTHING can separate us from Him! How awesome is that?!? His love can never be taken away from us!!!! His love is eternal! His love is a gift! His love is a blessing!! I am so thankful that I serve a God that can never be taken away! He is God alone!!
