It's Thursday so you know what that means! Thankful Thursday! Wanna get in on the fun? Then jump right in! Copy & past my code & then away you go!

Today's Thankful Thursday is all about my Mom & what she means to me! (This post is in connection with my giveaway so be sure to check it out here!) There really aren't enough words to express how much I love my Mom & all that she has taught me but I am going to do my best to try!

My Mom is an amazing woman of God. She inspires me all the time to be more than I am. She can drive me to the luny bin sometimes, but my life would never be the same without her. She has given up so much for me & I will never be able to thank her enough! She has always taught me that no matter the problem you take it to Jesus & lay it at His feet. He is always there to hold you & comfort you. I know this because of the example she showed me time & time again. Being an only child I was definitely spoiled & let me tell you we had a rough time during the teenage years as most Mothers & Daughters do! But when I got to be about 19 I realized maybe my Mom wasn't as stupid as I thought! Then a few years later I became a Mom myself & let me tell you I realized my Mom...she is a saint & has a wealth of knowledge!!!! And then when I wasn't watching my Mom became my best friend! She is still my Mom & will snap me back in line faster than you can blink, but she is also my friend, my supporter, & my mentor! If I can be half the Mom to my boys that my Mom has been to me, then I count myself lucky! My Mom has lived the definition of a Proverbs 31 woman & I do arise & call her blessed!
Thank you Mom for all you have done for me! I love you dearly & can never express that enough! Where ever I go & whatever I do I will ALWAYS remember that my Mommy loves me!!!
Proverbs 31
Epilogue: The Wife of Noble Character
A wife of noble character who can find?
She is worth far more than rubies.
Her husband has full confidence in
her and lacks nothing of value.
She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life.
She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands.
She is like the merchant ships, bringing her food from afar.
She gets up while it is still dark; she provides food for her
family and portions for her servant girls.
She considers a field and buys it;
out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.
She sets about her work vigorously;
her arms are strong for her tasks.
She sees that her trading is profitable,
She sees that her trading is profitable,
and her lamp does not go out at night.
In her hand she holds the distaff
and grasps the spindle with her fingers.
She opens her arms to the poor
and extends her hands to the needy.
When it snows, she has no fear for her household;
for all of them are clothed in scarlet.
She makes coverings for her bed;
she is clothed in fine linen and purple.
Her husband is respected at the city gate, where he takes
his seat among the elders of the land.
She makes linen garments and sells them,
and supplies the merchants with sashes.
She is clothed with strength and dignity;
she can laugh at the days to come.
She speaks with wisdom,
and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
She watches over the affairs of her household
and does not eat the bread of idleness.
Her children arise and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praises her:
"Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all."
Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.
Give her the reward she has earned, and let
Give her the reward she has earned, and let
her works bring her praise at the city gate.
